SANDY MACDONALD
Versatile
Sandy MacDonald is a fulltime professional musician (guitar, banjo, mandolin, bass, vocals) with 40 years experience. As co- leader of The Beirdo Bros., he played at numerous schools, libraries, clubs, universities, weddings and corporate functions throughout Southern Ontario. He performed on The Elephant Show with Sharon, Lois and Bram and toured Germany with the Canadian Department of National Defense Schools. Sandy has a B.A. in Drama from the University of Guelph and studied classical guitar and music theory at Wilfrid Laurier University. He performs as a soloist or a band leader covering many genres including Classic Rock, Pop, Blues, Jazz/Dixieland, Country, Celtic/Irish/Scottish, Oktoberfest, Christmas, Kids music and more. The Kitchener Record calls him "one of the areas most popular club musicians".
